The Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (EAPCET) is conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU Kakinada) on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). This examination is the gateway for entry into various professional courses offered in Government and Private Colleges of Andhra Pradesh. After clearing AP EAPCET, the candidates become eligible for admission into various courses that include Engineering (BTech), Bio-Technology, BTech (Dairy Technology), BTech (Agricultural Engineering), BTech (Food Science and Technology), BSc (Ag) / BSc (Hort) / BVSc & AH / BFSc, B.Pharmacy, Pharm.D. There are a total of 17 government and 305 private engineering colleges offering approximately 1,53,150 seats.
