The Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) 2026 is conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati - SBTET Amaravati, for admission into Diploma level programs conducted in Government, Aided, Private, Un-aided Polytechnics and Second Shift polytechnics run in existing Private un-aided Engineering Colleges of Andhra Pradesh. For admission into the Diploma Courses like Hotel Management and Catering Technology, D.Pharmacy, the entry qualification is 10+2 or 12th Standard. These candidates need not appear for POLYCET 2026 for admission into the said courses. The syllabus of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry for POLYCET 2026 is the same as that of SSC Examination 2026 conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh. A total of 1,77,581 students registered for the AP POLYCET 2026, of which 1,63,008 students appeared for the exam.
