June 24, 2021: The Andhra Pradesh Government has announced that the AP SSC Exams 2021, scheduled to be conducted from 7th June 2021, have been cancelled given the COVID-19 Pandemic situation in the state. The situation was to be evaluated in July 2021 and accordingly a fresh datesheet was to be issued. BSEAP not only reduced the syllabus for this year's Class 10 Examinations 2021, but also conducted classes till the 2nd Week of April 2021. This year, the AP SSC Exam 2021 was also announced to be conducted with only 7 papers, a reduction from the 11 papers conducted every year.

Earlier, Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh had announced that the AP SSC Exams 2021 will be held as per schedule in June 2021. "We are taking precautions against COVID-19 in all schools. The Education Department is reviewing the situation every day and COVID-19 tests of students are being conducted. We will think of cancelling the exams only if the number of cases increases in the coming weeks", he said.

The Directorate of Government Examinations (Andhra Pradesh) - SSC Board has cancelled the Andhra Pradesh SSC (Class 10) Exams 2021 in the state, earlier scheduled to be conducted from June 7, 2021 till June 16, 2021. Director of State Council for Educational Research & Training (SCERT) B.Pratap Reddy recently informed that classes in schools across AP continued till April 30 and the AP SSC & OSSC Public Examinations 2021 were to be conducted soon. Effect of Coronavirus Pandemic on AP SSC Exams 2020

Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh announced that the Andhra Pradesh Government has cancelled the AP SSC Examinations 2020, taking into consideration the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the state. "All AP SSC students will be promoted without appearing for the examination. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy suggested us not to conduct the examinations and promote all students to the next class," Suresh has said.
