The Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU), Guwahati conducts the Combined Entrance Examination (CEE), for admission to the First Semester of B.Tech. Programme for Academic Session 2025-26 in the Engineering Colleges of Assam. Assam CEE 2025 is based on the syllabus of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) and is of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type and comprises of a single paper of three hours duration. The registration process for the CEE 2025 started on February 5, 2025 and the last date to submit online applications was February 27, 2025. The CEE Admit Cards were available for download from 12th April 2025 till 23rd April 2025 and the exam was conducted by ASTU on April 27, 2025, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm in a single shift. Assam CEE 2025 - Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to appear for the Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE), students must meet the following eligibility criteria:

- DOMICILE: The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam.

- AGE LIMIT: The candidate must not be below 17 years on the date of registration to appear CEE. There is no maximum age limit.

- HS Result Requirement: Candidate must secure a minimum of 45% (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category in the subjects taken together).

Steps to Fill CEE Assam 2025 Form Online

Step 1: Visit the Official Website of ASTU - www.astu.ac.in and click on the link saying - CEE 2025 Online Form Fill-up.

Step 2: Click on the CEE 2025 Application Form Tab and read the instructions carefully before filling the form.

Step 3: Click on the Next Button and fill up the CEE Form and click on submit

Step 4: Pay the CEE 2025 examination fee of Rs.1350/- (Rupees One Thousand Three Hundred and Fifty) through online payment facility.

Step 5: Take a printout of the Application Form for your records.

Currently, there are 8 Government Universities & Colleges and 7 Private / Deemed Universities which offer admissions to their B.Tech. Programme through the Assam CEE 2025. These include: Assam Engineering College (420 seats); Jorhat Engineering College (315 seats); Jorhat Institute of Science & Technology (240 seats); Bineswar Brahma Engineering College (240 seats); Dhemaji Engineering College (180 seats); Golaghat Engineering College (180 seats) etc. and other private Universities including: Royal Global University; Assam down town University; The Assam Kaziranga University etc.
The average cut-off marks for admissions through Assam CEE 2025 are as follows: General Category 139-381; OBC: 140-355; SC: 102-288; ST: 79-320 etc. The cut off marks varies every year depending on the results scored by students in Assam CEE.
Assam CEE 2025 is based on the syllabus of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) and is of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ) format. It is a single paper of three hours duration with following distribution: Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry - 40 questions each. 4 (four) marks are awarded for every correct answer and 1 (one) mark is deducted for every wrong answer.
With CEE Assam 2025 conducted on April 27, 2025, the result date will be in May 2025.
