The Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU), Guwahati conducts the Combined Entrance Examination (CEE), for admission to the First Semester of B.Tech. Programme for Academic Session 2026-27 in the Engineering Colleges of Assam. Assam CEE 2026 is based on the syllabus of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) and is of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type and comprises of a single paper of three hours duration. The registration process for the CEE 2026 is expected to start in February 2026. The CEE Admit Cards are available for download in April 2026 and the exam is likely to be conducted by ASTU in April 2026, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm in a single shift. The exam centres are designated at Bongaigaon, Dibrugarh, Diphu, Guwahati, Jorhat, Lakhimpur, Nagaon, Nalbari, Silchar & Tezpur.

Assam CEE 2026 - Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to appear for the Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE), students must meet the following eligibility criteria:

- DOMICILE: The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam.

- AGE LIMIT: The candidate must not be below 17 years on the date of registration to appear CEE. There is no maximum age limit.

- HS Result Requirement: Candidate must secure a minimum of 45% (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category in the subjects taken together).

Steps to Fill CEE Assam 2026 Form Online

Step 1: Visit the Official Website of ASTU - www.astu.ac.in and click on the link saying - CEE 2026 Online Form Fill-up.

Step 2: Click on the CEE 2026 Application Form Tab and read the instructions carefully before filling the form.

Step 3: Click on the Next Button and fill up the CEE Form and click on submit

Step 4: Pay the CEE 2026 examination fee of Rs.1350/- (Rupees One Thousand Three Hundred and Fifty) through online payment facility.

Step 5: Take a printout of the Application Form for your records.

The average cut-off marks for admissions through Assam CEE 2026 are as follows: General Category 139-381; OBC: 140-355; SC: 102-288; ST: 79-320 etc. The cut off marks varies every year depending on the results scored by students in Assam CEE.
