The Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU), Guwahati conducts the Combined Entrance Examination (CEE), for admission to the First Semester of B.Tech. Programme for Academic Session 2026-27 in the Engineering Colleges of Assam. Assam CEE 2026 is based on the syllabus of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) and is of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type and comprises of a single paper of three hours duration. The registration process for the CEE 2026 is expected to start in February 2026. The CEE Admit Cards are available for download in April 2026 and the exam is likely to be conducted by ASTU in April 2026, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm in a single shift. To be eligible to appear for the Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE), students must meet the following eligibility criteria:- DOMICILE: The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- AGE LIMIT: The candidate must not be below 17 years on the date of registration to appear CEE. There is no maximum age limit.
- HS Result Requirement: Candidate must secure a minimum of 45% (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category in the subjects taken together).
