The Government of Haryana setup the Chaudhary Bansi Lal University in the year 2014, at Bhiwani (also home to the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH)). The University Campus in Bhiwani is located just about 125 kms from New Delhi and is very easily accessible through Road & Rail, the nearest airport being Delhi itself. A new campus of the varsity spread over 132 acres of land is coming up at Prem Nagar in Bhiwani. The University has around 60 affiliated colleges spread over two districts - Charkhi Dadri and Bhiwani with around 40,000 students enrolled with the University.
