Odisha CHSE Class 12 Exams 2021 - CANCELLED!June 28, 2021: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Odisha has informed that scores will be awarded to the Regular Examinees in Theory Papers / Theory Components of papers on basis of the performance of the Examinee in the 10th Board Examination and scores in Theory Papers for Ex-Regular Examinees will be awarded on the basis of their performance in the previous CHSE Examination which they had appeared. Furthermore, an examinee who is not satisfied with the result declared on the basis of Alternative Assessment Criteria, can opt to appear the Examination in the Off-line mode which will be conducted when the situation will be conducive. CHSE Plus Two Results 2021 will be announced in the Last Week of July 2021.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had earlier announced that the CHSE Odisha 12th Exams 2021 have been cancelled amid the ongoing COVID-19 crisis in the state. A fresh review of the situation was due to be done in the First Week of June 2021 to determine the dates of the examination. However, with several Boards like CBSE, CISCE besides State Boards cancelling their Class 12 Examinations, CHSE Odisha +2 Exams 2021 have also been scrapped this year. The Chief Minister also said that the well being of students was their top priority. He had earlier instructed the closure of all schools from April 19 and the cancellation of annual examinations for Class 9 & 11 in the state.
The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Odisha had earlier announced the dates for the Odisha Annual Higher Secondary (Class 12) Examinations 2021. This year, each paper was to have 50 percent multiple choice objective questions (carrying one mark each), along with 30 percent short-answer type questions with multiple options (carrying two or three marks each). The remaining 20 percent were announced to be subjective questions and carry five marks each.
