The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) announces the TN Class 10th Result (Tamilnadu SSLC Results 2018) for several lakhs of students each year in May-mid. The TN 10th Result i.e the Tamil Nadu SSLC Results 2018, is announced from the headquarters of the Directorate located at Chennai (Tamil Nadu).

In 2017, the Tamil Nadu SSLC Results i.e. the TN Class 10th Result was announced on May 19. This year too, the TN 10th Result 2018 i.e the Tamil Nadu SSLC Results 2018 are expected to be announced around the same date on the Department's official website and through SMS, IVRS etc.

In 2018, the DGE TN conducted 10th SSLC exams from 16th March to 20th April. The examinations were conducted in a single shift from from 10.00 a.m. to 12.45 p.m. The results are going to be announced by the board very soon. 28 March 2018: English Paper I
04 April 2018: English Paper II

Large number of students appeared for the exam which was conducted successfully across different exam centers of the state. Most probably, the Class 10th (Annual SSLC) Examinations will be declared in the third week of May 2018.

Provision for retotaling of marks

Candidates not pleased with the stated result may apply for the retotaling of marks. Tamil Nadu has a scheme for only retotaling marks and has no provision for re-evaluation of the entire mark sheet. Relevant form for retotaling must be submitted on or before the last date fixed by the board. For failure candidates, Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu, gives an opportunity to save a year with Supplementary Examinations.
