April 16, 2021: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu is the nodal agency for conducting SSLC (Class 10) Examinations 2021. The Tamil Nadu Board is one of the oldest education boards in India and was reframed as a separate Directorate in 1975. It works under the Department of Education, Government of Tamil Nadu and its headquarters is in Chennai. The Tamil Nadu SSLC Examinations 2021 have been cancelled by DGE Tamilnadu. Step 1: Go to the DGE Tamilnadu Official Website i.e. www.tnresults.nic.in or https://www.results.shiksha/tamil-nadu/sslc.htm.

Step 2: Enter your SSLC Roll Number & Date of Birth (as it appears on your SSLC Hall Ticket 2021) in the space provided.

Step 3: Click on the 'GET TN 10th RESULTS 2021' button to get your detailed Tamil Nadu SSLC Result 2021.

Effect of COVID-19 Pandemic on TN SSLC Exams 2020

On 9th June 2020 the Tamil Nadu Government announced that the SSLC (Class 10) Public Examinations 2020, re-scheduled to begin from June 15, stood cancelled. SSLC Students in the state were promoted to the next class based on the internal assessment marks. The Class 11 Examinations in the state were also cancelled in the wake of the number of Coronavirus cases in the state. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami announced that, "Students would get 80% weightage for half yearly and quarterly examination marks and 20% weightage for attendance." More than 9 lakh students were to appear for the TN SSLC Exams 2020. Earlier in May, the TN School Education Minister had announced a fresh datesheet for TN SSLC Exams from June 1-12.
