INTRODUCTION:

The Telangana State (TS) Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) 2018 is conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). ICET 2018 serves as a gateway for admissions into the MBA, MCA etc courses.

Kakatiya University is situated in the northern part of the state of Telangana. It was established in the year 1976, in August. The Kakatiya University (KU) has successfully been conducting the ICET exams over the past years. It has conducted the ICET exams in 2005, 2006, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.

The Telangana ICET exam is the first Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test after the formation of the state.

Every year, over lakhs of students appear for the ICET exam creating a huge competition amongst the candidates.

Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE):

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education commonly known as TSCHE was established by the government of Telangana in 2014. After the division of the state’s Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the TSCHE formed seven universities. The TSCHE conducts various entrance tests namely EAMCET, ICET, EdCET, ECET, PGECET for the candidates residing in the state of Telangana.

Form submission last date with late fee of Rs.10000 19th May 2018
Hall Ticket issued 7th May 2018
Date of Examination 23rd & 24th May 2018
Answer Key Released 27th May 2018
Last date to submit objection 4th June 2018
Final Answer Key & Result Announcement 6th June 2018

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Candidate should be an Indian national citizen Should satisfy all local/non-local requirements laid down by the Telangana State Educational Institutions

For MBA courses:

Candidate should have passed three year bachelor degree from a recognized university with 50 % marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in qualifying exam.

For MCA courses:

Candidate should have a three year bachelor degree with mathematics at 10+2 level from a recognized university.
50 % marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in qualifying exam.

Telangana ICET/ TS ICET 2018 EXAM PATTERN:

The TS ICET exam 2018 would be conducted through online mode (Computer based test)
All the questions will be in objective type
There will be a total of 200 questions
The duration of the exam will be 2 hours 30 minutes
One mark for each correct answer will be awarded
There will be no negative marking/ No marks would be deducted for a wrong answer
There will be a total of three sections; Analytical ability, Mathematical ability and communication ability

TS ICET RESULTS 2018:

The results for the TS ICET will be announced on June 6, 2018. The result will be declared through online mode.

Step 2: Click on the ‘GET RESULTS BUTTON’
Step 3: Enter your Hall Ticket number
Step 4: Click on the submit button
Step 5: Take a print out of the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test 2018 Result for future reference
