Telangana Inter 1st Year Exams 2026

The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) is conducting the TS Intermediate First Year Examinations 2026 from February 25, 2026 till March 17, 2026. Over 4.75 lakh students appear for the TSBIE Inter 1st Year Exams each year, including the General & Vocational category students. A total of 10,47,815 students are appearing for the Intermediate First & Second Year Exams 2026 at 1495 exam centres across the state. The Practical Examinations have been conducted from February 02, 2026 (Monday) till February 21, 2026 (Saturday) in two sessions i.e., Morning Session from 9 am to 12 noon and Afternoon Session from 2-5 pm. Other dates of practical exams were as follows: English - January 21, 2026 (Wednesday); Ethics and Human Values - January 23, 2026 (Friday); Environmental Education - January 24, 2026 (Saturday). The Board had also clarified that if the dates of the Intermediate Practical Examinations 2026 coincided with the JEE Mains 2026 schedule, the candidates appearing for JEE Mains would be provided a special provision / alternative arrangement to write the Inter Practical exams. The Telangana Inter 1st Year Result is generally announced in the month of April each year. The spot evaluation of the exams begin right after the papers are conducted and is completed withing 20-25 days after which the TS Inter Results 2026 will be announced on April 5th or 6th, 2026.
