The Telangana Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (Telangana PGECET 2019) is conducted by the University College of Engineering, Osmania University on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), for admission into various regular PG courses in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Pharmacy (ME/M.Tech./M.Pharmacy/M.Arch), graduate level Pharma-D (Post Baccalaureate) in the state of Telangana.

Each year, large number of candidates from all across Telangana appear for the TS PGECET to get admissions in various courses.

Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE):

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education commonly known as TSCHE was established by the government of Telangana in 2014. After the division of the state’s Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the TSCHE formed seven universities. The TSCHE conducts various entrance tests namely EAMCET, ICET, EdCET, ECET, PGECET for the candidates residing in the state of Telangana.

Form submission with Rs.500/- late fee - 7th May 2019
Form submission with Rs.2000/- late fee - 14th May 2019
Application correction 15th – 20th May 2019
Form submission with Rs.5000/- late fee - 21st May 2019
Form submission with Rs.10000/- late fee - 26th May 2019
Availability of Hall Ticket - 22nd – 27th May 2019
Written Test - 28th – 31st May 2019
Declaration of Result - Mid of June, 2019
Starting of Counselling Procedure - August, 2019
Admission Process Start - September, 2019


For PG Professional Courses:
Should be an Indian National
Candidate should belong to either Telangana or Andhra Pradesh
Should satisfy local/non-local status requirements
To get an admission in M.Tech, the students should have completed his BE/B.Tech/AMIE and for M.
Pharmacy the candidate should have cleared B.Pharmacy from a recognized college.
For admission in pharmacy and engineering courses, candidate must have secured 50% marks (General category) and 45% marks (Reserved category)
Candidates in their final year can also apply
For graduate level Pharm-D course, student should hold a B.Pharmacy degree approved by the Pharmacy council of India.


The exam duration will be 2 hours
The questions asked will be in objective type.
There is no negative marking
Will be a computer based test
Examination will be held in two sessions, afternoon and evening
Paper would be in English



The TS PGECET 2019 result is likely to be announced in the second week of June. Every year, the the results of TS PGECET 2019 is declared in the second week of June by the TSCHE. The result of TS PGECET 2019 will be downloaded in the form of rank card.

STEP 4: Click on the ‘Download your rank card’ button
STEP 5: Take a print out of your result for future reference
