The Telangana State (TS) Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) 2023 is conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana, Hyderabad - SBTET Hyderabad, for admission into Diploma Courses in Engineering and Non Engineering / Technology courses offered at Polytechnics (including Govt. / Aided and Unaided Polytechnics and Polytechnics running in Private Engineering Colleges) in Telangana State, Agricultural courses offered by Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) , Horticultural Diploma courses offer by Sri Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticultural University (SKLTSHU), Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Courses offered by PV Narasimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University (PVNRTVU).

Students who have passed SSC (Class 10) or its equivalent examination recognized by the Board of Secondary Education, TS, Hyderabad are eligible to apply. The candidates who have compartmentally passed or appearing for SSC 2023 are also eligible to apply. However, they must have passed in all the subjects before seeking admission.
