The West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education (WBBME) came into force by the West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education Act 1994 and is the only Madrasah board that is recognized by the Government of India. It conducts the High Madrasah (Class 10), Alim (Class 10), & Fazil (Class 12) examinations in the state. The WBBME conducted the High Madrasa, Alim and Fazil Examinations 2025 from February 10-25, 2025. A total of 65,110 examinees took the exams this year across all three levels, of which 47,376 were in High Madrasa, 12,503 in Alim and 5,125 in Fazil Examination. The WB Madrasah Exams 2025 were held at 206 centres across 20 districts of West Bengal.
