The WB Class 12th Results 2024 will be announced in May 2024 with the exams concluding by the end of February 2024 itself. The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) announced the Higher Secondary (Class 12) Examinations Date Sheet 2024, according to which, the WB 12th Exams 2024 began on February 16, 2024 (Friday) and concluded on February 29, 2024 (Thursday). WBCHSE also informed that from the 2024-25 academic session, it has implemented a Semester System for Class 11 & 12 exams. The proposal aims at bringing the two-year exam system under a four-semester system of conducting two board exams after the third and fourth semesters and holding the third-semester exam in the multiple-choice question (MCQ) format.
