The WBJEE Results 2025 have been announced on 22nd August 2025, based on Calcutta High Court Justice Kaushik Chanda's orders to prepare a new merit list for the 66 OBC communities. He had previously stated that the state had prepared a merit list according to OBC A and B, which cannot be published, hence the results were being deferred. After a prolonged delay of over 75 days after the exam was conducted, the WBJEE Result 2025 was finally expected to be declared on 7th August. However, the WBJEE Results were deferred due to contempt proceedings initiated against the State and others including WBJEEB in the High Court.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2025 is a common entrance examination for admission to the Undergraduate (UG) Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture courses in Universities, Government Colleges and Self Financed Institutes in the state of West Bengal. It is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB). In 2025, the WBJEE was conducted on April 27, 2025 (Sunday) and WBJEE Results 2025 will be announced in August 2025.
