Bihar Board Inter Results 2024 - Highlights

This year, a total of 12,91,684 students appeared for the Bihar Board Inter Exams 2024, of which 11,26,439 students passed the exams registering an overall pass percentage of 87.21%. The pass percentage for girls stood at 88.84%, while that of boys was 85.69%. The pass percentage for the Arts Stream is 86.15%, Commerce Stream is 94.88%, Science Stream is 87.80% and Vocational Stream is 85.38%. A total of 13,04,352 students registered for the BSEB Class 12 Exams 2024, of which 6,77,921 were boys and 6,26,431 were girls.

With the completion of the BSEB Inter Exams 2024 in February, the Bihar Board has released its BSEB 12th Results on March 23, 2024 at 1.30 pm. For several years running, BSEB has been the first Board of Education in India to release it Class 12th Results, thereby helping students to quickly apply for admissions to Universities across India. Last year, a total of 13,18,227 students, including 6,81,795 boys & 6,36,432 girls, appeared for the Bihar Board Class 12th Exam and the result was announced on 21st March and a pass percentage of 83.07% (Arts Stream 82.74%, Science Stream 83.93%, Commerce Stream 93.35%, Vocational Stream 85.25%) was recorded in the exams . A total 10,51,948 students successfully cleared the BSEB Inter Exams in 2023.

Latest News on BSEB Class 12th Exams 2024

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) conducted the BSEB Class 12 Exams 2024 from February 01-12, 2024 for the Science, Commerce, and Arts streams at 1523 exam centres across the state. The Bihar Board Inter Practical Exams 2024 have been held from January 10-20, 2024. The Bihar Board Class 12 Exams are conducted in two sessions - the morning session from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm and the afternoon session from 1:45 pm to 5 pm. An additional time of 15 minutes is also provided to students for reading the question paper. After the examinations are conducted, BSEB releases the answer key for all objective questions that were asked in the examination. Students can also raise objections against the answers, if any. Candidates are required to login to the portal to view the answer keys as well as their recorded response sheets. BSEB Intermediate Exams Admit Card 2024

The Bihar Board released the final BSEB 12th Admit Card 2024 in January 2024. Students appearing for the Bihar Board Class 12 examinations can download their BSEB Class 12 Admit Card 2024 through the official BSEB website using their registration number, date of birth and school code. School heads can also login using their ID and password to download the BSEB Inter Hall Ticket 2024. The BSEB Admit Card for Class 12 serves as the identity of the student and the student needs to produce the admit card at the time of verification at the exam centre, failing which, they are not allowed in the examination hall.

The Bihar Board also released the BSEB Class 12th Dummy Admit Card 2024 on their official website. Students must download the same and report errors if any. They will be required to write the necessary changes on a paper and sign it and share a photocopy of those changes with their school heads. The dummy admit cards are released for the students to go through and correct any errors.

BSEB Inter Exams Syllabus 2024

BSEB releases the BSEB Syllabus for Class 12 on its official website. The syllabus for Science, Commerce and Arts streams, are released respectively by the Bihar board. It is advisable that students must go through the entire syllabus along with the marking scheme provided through the BSEB Class 12 exam pattern 2024 and study accordingly. Students are suggested to divide the syllabus into parts and then chalk out their study schedule as the syllabus is quite vast and can be quite challenging. Making a proper schedule to cover the syllabus on time would help the students a lot. The board also releases the model question papers on its official website for the students to be able to practice from them and analyze their preparation.

Bihar Board Intermediate Exam Pattern 2024

The BSEB Intermediate Exam 2024 had 50% multiple-choice questions, carrying 1 mark each. The subjects that have both theory and practical papers only had 35 MCQ in the theory paper. The total exam duration was of 3 hours and 15 minutes. Students must be familiar with the BSEB Class 12 Syllabus 2024 before preparing for the examinations. The BSEB has recently revised the marking scheme and as per the new scheme, in case a candidate fails in a compulsory subject, the marks obtained in the additional subject will be considered instead. The newly introduced change will enable students to appear for the exams to obtain an aggregate pass mark.
