The Goa Board (GBSHSE) has announced its HSSC (Class 12th) Result 2024 on April 21, 2024 at 5 pm and the SSC (Class 10th) Result 2024 is expected in May. A total of 17,511 students appeared for the Goa Class 12 Exams 2024 of which 8,276 were boys and 9235 were girls. 14,884 candidates passed the exams of which 6,752 boys passed and 8,132 girls passed with pass percentage of 81.59% and 88.06% respectively, thereby giving the overall percentage at 85.00%. It is to be noted that in 2023, the Goa HSSC Result was announced on May 6, whereas the Goa SSC Results were declared on May 20. GBSHSE has conducted its SSC (Class 10) Exams 2024 from April 01-23, 2024 & the HSSC (Class 12) Examinations 2024 from February 28, 2024 till March 12, 2024. Both the Goa SSC & HSSC Exams 2024 began at 9.30 am on the given exam dates. The Practical Exams for SSC & HSSC students have also been conducted in March & February 2024 respectively. The Goa Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) is the main state board of education in Goa. It was constituted by the Goa Daman and Diu Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Board Act 1975 on May 27, 1975. GBSHSE conducts the Goa SSC (Class 10) and HSSC (Class 12) Examination in which about 40,000 students appear from across the sea-state. The main aim and objective of the Goa Board is to provide and confer higher standards of education, to pay special attention to improve secondary and higher education in the state so that it meets the required socio-economic standards of development.
