The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE Tamil Nadu) has announced the Tamil Nadu Board Exam Time Tables 2026 for Classes 10 / 11 / 12. The TN SSLC Exams 2026 will be conducted from March 11, 2026 till April 06, 2026, while TN HSE 12th Exams 2026 will be held from March 02-26, 2026. The Tamilnadu Higher Secondary First Year (+1) Exams 2026 will be conducted from March 03-27, 2026. Dates for the Practical Exams have also been announced & they are as follows: Class 12 - February 09-14, 2026; Class 10 - February 23-28, 2026. The DGE conducts all its exams from 10.15 am till 1.15 pm on the given exam dates. The TN Board Exam Date Sheet 2026 is available on the official website dge.tn.gov.in and is also available below. The Tamil Nadu HSE 2nd Year (Class 12) Results 2026 will be announced tentatively on May 08, 2026, whereas the SSLC (Class 10) & HSE 1st Year (Class 11) Result 2026 will be declared on May 20, 2026. In 2025, the TN Board Exam Results were announced on the following dates: SSLC (Class 10) & HSE (Class 11) - May 16; HSE (Class 12) - May 08.

DGE Tamilnadu is responsible for conducting examinations for Class 10 / 11 / 12 for both government and private schools affiliated to the board. It is also responsible for improvement and promotion of education in the state. After the declaration of Tamil Nadu Board Results every year, the board also formally announces the rechecking and revaluation process. Students willing to get their copies rechecked can apply online. TN Board SSLC & HSE Supplementary / Compartmental exams are conducted after the declaration of TN Board Results and are meant for those who could not qualify the main examinations.
