Latest News on Tamil Nadu SSLC & HSE (+2) Time Table & Result 2025

The DGE Tamil Nadu is announcing its Board Exam Results on the following dates: SSLC (Class 10) & HSE (Class 11) - May 16, 2025; HSE (Class 12) - May 08, 2025. In 2024, a total of 7,60,606 students appeared for the Tamil Nadu HSE +2 Exams and a pass percentage of 94.56% was recorded. The SSLC Exams last year registered a 91.55% pass percentage.

The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE Tamil Nadu) released the Tamil Nadu Board Exam Time Tables 2025 for Classes 10 / 11 / 12. The TN SSLC Exams 2025 have been conducted from March 28, 2025 to April 15, 2025, while TN HSE 12th Exams 2025 have been held from March 03-25, 2025. The Tamilnadu Higher Secondary First Year (+1) Exams 2025 have been conducted from March 05-27, 2025. Dates for the Practical Exams were also announced & they were as follows: Class 12 - February 02-14, 2025; Class 10 - February 22-28, 2025. The DGE conducts all its exams from 10.15 am till 1.15 pm on the given exam dates. The TN Board Exam Date Sheet 2025 is available on the official website dge.tn.gov.in and is also available here.

DGE Tamilnadu is responsible for conducting examinations for Class 10th & 12th for both government and private schools affiliated to the board. It is also responsible for improvement and promotion of education in the state. After the declaration of Tamil Nadu Board Results 2025, the board also formally announces the rechecking and revaluation process. Students willing to get their copies rechecked can apply online. TN Board SSLC & HSE Supplementary / Compartmental exams are conducted after the declaration of TN Board Result 2025 and are meant for those who could not qualify the main examinations.

Steps to check your TN Board Result 2025

Step 1: Visit the Official Website for TN Board Results 2025 i.e. www.tnresults.nic.in or alternatively go to https://www.results.shiksha/tamil-nadu/

Step 2: Select between: TN SSLC Result 2025 or TN 12th Results 2025.

Step 3: Enter your Hall Ticket Number and Date of Birth (in DD/MM/YYYY format) and click on the Submit Button.

Step 4: Your TN Results 2025 will be displayed instantly. Download a copy of your TN Marksheet for future reference.
