Effect of COVID-19 Pandemic on TS SSC Exams 2021Chief Minister of Telangana, K. Chandrashekar Rao, announced the cancellation of the TS SSC Exams in 2021 owing to the COVID-19 crisis. The decision was taken by the CM after a high-level meeting was conducted with Special Chief Secretary of Education Chitra Ramachandran, Commissioner & Secretary of Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) Syed Omer Jaleel and the Director of Government Examinations (DGE) A. Satyanarayana Reddy. The Telangana SSC Results were announced on the basis of an objective criteria developed by the TS SSC Board. Any candidate who was not satisfied with the results announced, was also allowed to sit for the exams at a later date.
Telangana Board of Secondary Education, also known as the Directorate of Government Examinations, was established in June 2014 with its headquarters at Hyderabad to regulate and supervise the system of secondary education in Telangana.
